Brendan Crighton

Senator Brendan Crighton was elected to the Senate in 2018 to represent his hometown of Lynn as well as Lynnfield, Marblehead, Nahant, Saugus and Swampscott.

Prior to his election to the Senate, Senator Crighton served for two terms in the Massachusetts House of Representatives where he represented the Eleventh Essex District. In his current role, Crighton serves as Chair of the Joint Committee on Financial Services, Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Personnel and Administration, and Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Revenue. He earned a B.A. from Colby College and an M.P.A. from Suffolk University.  

Brendan and his wife Andrea are homeowners in Lynn, where they reside with their son Nathaniel.
