Robyn Kennedy

Senator Robyn Kennedy was elected to the State Senate in 2022, representing her hometown of Worcester, as well as Northborough, Berlin, Bolton, Boylston, and West Boylston. 

Prior to her State Senate election, Senator Kennedy worked tirelessly on Governor Deval Patrick and Lt. Governor Tim Murray’s campaigns while serving as Deputy Director of Appointments in 2006. She was the Director of Policy and Interagency Initiatives for the Lt. Governor’s Office, and later on became the Deputy Chief of Staff and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Children, Youth, and Families.

When she returned to Worcester in 2016, she took on many roles at the YWCA, where recently she was the Chief Operating Officer at the YWCA of Central Massachusetts. 

During her free time, she runs Boston marathons, coaches Basketball at St. Peter's Parish, and raises money to help cure cancer across the US.

Senator Kennedy earned her B.A. from Assumption University and her MPA from Clark University.
