Jamie Eldridge

Jamie Eldridge has served as State Senator for the Middlesex and Worcester district since January 2009, and currently serves as the Senate Chair of the Joint Committee on Judiciary, Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Post Audit and Oversight, and Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture.

Jamie Eldridge is known as a leader on progressive issues, and has filed the Medicare for All Act, the 100% Renewable Energy Act, the 100% Debt Free Higher Education Act, and the Safe Communities Act, as well as many bills aimed at reducing the wealth gap, increasing affordable housing options, and reforming the criminal justice system.

Previously, Senator Eldridge served as State Representative for the 37th Middlesex district, after being elected the only Clean Elections candidate to public office in Massachusetts history in November 2002.
