Jason Lewis

Senator Jason Lewis was elected to the State Senate in 2014, where he serves the people of the Fifth Middlesex District of Massachusetts, which includes Malden, Melrose, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield and parts of Winchester. He serves as the Senate Chair of the Joint Committee on Education, Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Reimagining Massachusetts Post-Pandemic Resiliency, Assistant Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means, and Assistant Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Ways and Means.

Senator Lewis prioritizes education, healthcare and economic opportunity for all. Prior to his election to the Senate, Lewis served for five years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He lives in Winchester with his wife, Susan, and their two daughters, Sophie and Jessie.
