Senator Moran is an accomplished attorney, small business owner, mediator, and former addictions counselor whose steady progression in government has seen her working tirelessly to represent her constituents and legislating effectively at the local, county, and regional levels of Government. She is currently the Senator from Plymouth and Barnstable. She serves as Chair of the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Advanced Information Technology, the Internet and Cybersecurity, and Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Health

Senator Moran is also the mother of a nurse, a teacher, and a biomedical engineer, as well as a grandmother, a breast cancer survivor, and the daughter of a disabled Air Force Veteran.

Senator Moran knows how to collaborate, knows how to drive consensus around issues that are important to her district, and continues to prove she knows how to get things done under the most difficult conditions.
